Hawaii - We’re glad we’re here

It’s sad to say but there was a point where we wished this trip to Hawaii would get cancelled. We’re here for OADC, and COVID infections are increasing again and we’re both very busy. After a 2.5 hour delay in the airport and tarmac, we made it here. And then everything really turned around.

Hawaii smells good. The airport experience and car rental went easy. The brewery was good, and the Big Swell beer was worth every minute we had to wait to get into the brewery. The lady at the hotel front desk was very nice and quick. Our hotel room is phenomenal. It’s a small suite. The shower is great, the bed is big, we have a nice view of the ocean and flowers. We had a second small dinner with a very kind bartender and excellent Kobe beef bites.

This morning, we woke early and worked for several hours before taking a 2 mile walk in high 70s-80s degree temps. It’s really great to be here together.
