We are back in Portland. We had such an excellent trip and are a little sad that it’s over. Though, it is good to be home. That first shower in our huge shower and with a completely dry towel was fantastic! Iris was particularly happy to be home. After spending almost a week of long, constant driving, she was done being in the truck and not very happy. It took her a moment once we got home but then she started running around like a puppy with a huge smile on her face. She was so excited and bouncy that we couldn’t even get a good picture of her

Since coming home, we decided we have too much stuff. We lived in about 100 sq. ft. just fine, though a little cozy. It’s motivated us to clean the garage and get rid of the junk. We (mostly Mike) are also sorting through the thousands of photos. We took so many that it filled the hard drive that Mike brought to store the photos.

We have two weeks until we need to go back to work. We are both gearing up for work and will be ready, but not until then. We’ll spend the next couple of weeks playing in Portland’s wonderful, sunny weather and doing home maintenance and light remodeling.
