Merry Christmas!

Our morning started at 4:00am when we both woke up. We tried to go back to sleep but I think we were both excited for Christmas. After a nice cup of coffee, and some last minute stocking stuffing, we opened gifts. Iris loves Christmas and knows she gets stuff. She has been sniffing the packages all month, looking for hers, and she is really cute when we open her gifts. We took a break between gifts and stockings to make the breakfast casserole. While our backs were turned, Iris grabbed her stuffed Pluto our of her stocking. At least she knew what was hers. Now, she’s crashed. Apparently, 4 am was too early for her.

We had a great morning! Breakfast is finished and it’s only 7:00am. I just looked outside and I don’t think any of our neighbors are even awake yet. A nap is definitely on our agenda, but we are excited for the rest of our day!
