River Rafting & Stove Replacement
Mom and Dad came down this weekend from Spokane. On Saturday, Mom and I went white water rafting on the Clackamas River while Mike and Jim replaced our kitchen stove. (I think we got the better deal.) Mom and I had a wonderful time on the river. There were three other people in our raft, along with our guide. Also, there were seven kayaks traveling with us. It was a blast to watch the kayaks maneuver through the rapids, and tip. I think I would like to try kayaking, but maybe something a little more tame than we did on Saturday. The rapids were a lot of fun and the lunch provided was very good too.
When we got home, Mike and Jim had completely replaced the kitchen stove. The old one was on its last leg. The new stove is beautiful and it works! It took them quite a while, and some traveling, to find a stove that we wanted in stock. Then, it was approximately four hours of work to install it. By the time everyone was home again, we were all exhausted. It was a great day!
