Office Update

Phew – busy weekend!  We’re not sure how it came about but we decided to paint and replace the ceiling light in the office.  We gutted the room - there was a lot of stuff in there.  Then, we prepped the walls to be painted.  While I started working on the trim, Mike cut holes in the ceiling to install four recessed lights instead of our ugly central light.  It took us both days of this weekend but the office looks great!  We painted the office the same sand color as the master bath, but we painted the closet white.  The contrast looks good.

The recessed lights took a little work on Mike’s part.  He spent some extra time in the attic because when the lights were initially wired, they kept popping the fuse.  Oops.  Finally, Mike figured out that he had miswired one of the lights, causing a short.  He fixed it and problem solved.  The office looks great!  Now, Coign Studio needs to invest in some art for the walls and it will really look sharp.
