Little Jasper

It was a typical Sunday morning.  I ran up to Bed Bath & Beyond and met Mike there to buy a toaster.  When we got home, everything changed.  Jim called and asked if we would dog-sit their new puppy.  By the way, would we drive out to Gresham to pick up the puppy and bring him to Spokane with us next weekend?   We picked up little Jasper and brought him home for a week’s stay with us.  Mike wasn’t too sure at first – flashbacks to Lizzy.  But, he softened when he saw the tiny puppy.
