Near-Complete Move

Mike and I, perhaps foolishly, decided to move ourselves again instead of hiring movers. We did awesome. I’m only partially surprised though because I knew we would bust our butts to get it done.  Before we picked up the U-Haul on Saturday at 9am, we had done three loads already with the truck. Add two model U-Haul loads plus one truck and one car and that concludes Saturday. 

We stayed at the new place Saturday night. It was fine. Mike and I both noticed how quiet it was. There was no road noise. Iris did well. She doesn’t mind the new place. It was a good move for us to send her to Darin’s during the move.  Today, she was a little annoyed with the moving.

We are 99% moved as lunch. We are going to save the rest until later this week, since we don’t have to be out of the house until Wednesday.
