The Backyard Project Begins

Last weekend, we broke ground on the backyard project. We took out the three planters that we built several years ago. Shoveling dirt is tough. We’re proud to have made progress and not over-designed it to death.

Iris liked the fresh dirt.

This morning, we spent some time and decided on the design for our deck addition. We measured out the dimensions.  Our yard isn’t level so we’re going to have to build it up.
