A great way to spend our anniversary

Today was a great day. We started with coffee and a little bit of computering. We took Iris to Darin’s, swung by Starbucks for a snack, and then went to the zoo. The flamingo exhibit, with the baby ducks and big white birds, was the best today. We enjoyed seeing a flamingo and a parent duck being a little sassy with each other. We then went to a McMenamins on NW 23rd and got another stamp in our passports. We walked down 23rd and looped back along 21st back to the car. Since we mistakenly ordered too small of a meal, we then went to Lompac and got nachos.

After a nice nap, I donned my Wonder Woman attire and ran the Starlight 5K Fun Run with my running buddy through Girls On The Run. Mike went with me again. He’s so sweet. The crowd doing the fun run was crazy and all dressed up again. It was a great, fulfilling day to spend together.
