A Good Run and A Change of Plans

I went for a really nice 9 mile run this morning. I felt great, my lungs were happy to run at low elevation again, and the weather was perfect. Mike met me part way with Iris so she could run too. I’ve decided not to run the Santa Claus Half-Marathon in North Pole because it would require us to come back to Fairbanks after Denali Nat’l Park for another 4 days. We are ready to move on and excited to see other parts of Alaska. There’s a half-marathon in Anchorage a couple weeks later. I’ll keep running and keep that race on my radar.
