Skiing!

It’s been 17 years since Mike went snow skiing. This morning, he decided it was time to try it again. The ski area here is not very populated, the hill looked moderate, and Mike was in the mood. We went snow skiing.

We rented equipment and both of us were a little uncertain as to what would happen. Mike picked it right up pretty quickly. He was awesome, turning and swooshing. He stayed with me because I was terrible. He had to train me on the bunny slope a couple of times. Then, we hit the mid-point. Mike felt fairly comfortable. I felt the ground a few times. Mike had ants in the pants to try something else, so he went skiing on the intermediate slopes and I returned to the bunny hill for some more practice. We had a lot of fun.
