End of Iris’ Vacation Blog
I wasn’t ready to leave McCall and our campsite because I had just discovered that the pine squirrels lived in a tree stump by the Casita and stored their nuts in the electrical panel for the campsite. There were many squirrels still to watch and chase. In fact, as Mom and Dad packed on Friday, I stayed outside in protest. Sadly, we had to leave. The ride back went fast, probably because I slept through most of it. It was good to get home. I had to check the backyard to make sure there wasn’t anything amiss or any squirrels to chase away. The best part about coming home was getting good wet dog food again. I can’t wait to go camping again.
