Theater Room Update
Mike and I took a four day weekend – well, I took a four day weekend, Mike worked today. It was a great mini vacation! We had grand plans of painting the theater room and the work-out room. As usual for us, we way underestimated the amount of time the project took. We started in theater room. After spending 1½ hours in Lowes picking out and buying the paint, we decided to take the rest of Friday off.
On Saturday, we put in a full 8 hour day. At the end of the day, we had finished painting the ceiling and only had a first coat of paint on the walls. Sunday, we got a little lazy again, though we did put another coat on the walls. Today, we finished it off – and it looks wonderful! We are both very pleased with the colors and the way the project turned out. We’ll save the work-out room for another weekend.
