More Bathroom Remodeling
Mike and I both put in long hours at work this week – and it doesn’t look like it will slacken anytime soon. Mike may have found the business niche for Coign Studio. He is doing a project for one of his clients where he is transforming a Powerpoint presentation into a DVD with motion graphics. This work enables Mike to use a variety of his skills, such as photography and videography, video editing, animated graphics and, of course, Photoshop. He has enjoyed working on this project and is contemplating several advertising avenues to get more related work.
We have a new flock of Brown Birds that visit our feeder. There’s a female that’s been watching Mike all morning. She is quite curious as to what’s going on in our office. So cute! Also, a squirrel has finally made the leap – and a giant leap it is – from the tree onto the bird feeder. Mike was working yesterday when he saw the feeder sway dramatically. All of sudden, he saw a fluffy tail on the top of the feeder. He chased Mr. Squirrel away, but Mr. Squirrel came back shortly after. Mike chased him away again and now we’re waiting to see if he returns. It’s cute and funny but we want to feed the birds. The squirrels can clean up the birds’ mess on the ground.
We worked on the bathroom again. We’re taking baby steps but at least we’re getting something done. We tried to jimmy rig a skirt for the Jacuzzi this morning. Right now we’re waiting for the Elmer’s glue to dry to see if it’s strong enough to hold a magnet to a wooden block. Mike laughed at me for using “kids’ glue” but I think it’s going to work. We’ll see…
