General Update

Mike found two jobs that interested him - one at a design firm and the other at Nike.  He’s applying to both jobs, just to see what they’re like.  By no means will he will give Coign Studio.  He’s keeping his options open.  If he likes one, and is hired, he’ll continue with Coign Studio on the side.  We’ll see what happens.  Stay tuned…

Mike’s been working on Bodyfelt’s website.  It looks really great so far.

It was a great climbing week for me.  When I got to the gym on Tuesday, Ike (another climber at my level) pointed out a route he had been working on.  After working on one move for a while, I nailed the route.  That was awesome!  Then, the same thing happened on Thursday, except that I started working on the route when Ike and Leach (our nickname for him) tried it.  That was a sweet victory because at least four people were watching me do the route when I completed it.  And I completed it on my second attempt (I think – at least it was an early attempt).  Ike and Leach didn’t get it that night.  Eeeee – I was the big climber of the night.

Today, Mike and I are lazy.  This morning started out decent.  We did some laundry and then went to my office to hang some of Mike’s photos.  I’m so glad to finally get those up.  We also went to the gym, but we weren’t really in the mood.  It was hot and there were a number of kids there, so we stayed only 45 minutes.  Haven’t done much since then – and it doesn’t look like that will change, at least until tomorrow.  I have another 20 mile run tomorrow.  I’m running the marathon course with the training group and Pete.  It’ll probably be tough tomorrow.  Here’s hoping…
